The last motorsport ice race in Austria had taken place in 1974. Forty five years later, two young motorphiles decided to revive it. Today the Ice Grand Prix congregates sportscars and their drivers from all over Europe to the mountains of Zell am See, eager to compete in the treacherous race. This simple pavilion was designed as a place where racers could unwind in an informal atmosphere. An uncomplicated timber structure topped with an inverted gable roof ensures easy dismounting and transportation.
