A new, different purpose is to be conceived for an urban office building. The goal is to achieve a novel, tourist-oriented application. Tiled function boxes are placed in the open floor plans. The boxes feature all the important functions of a hotel room: wet room, folding bed, etc... The hotel is designed as an open space - guests can use unoccupied rooms and thus exploit the spaciousness. The existing gallery on the top floor is converted into spacious maisonettes.
