The guiding principle of this project was to stick very closely to energy production and its industrial character. A historic hydroelectric power station provides the building with electricity and is visible from the interior as a central, spatial element.
The production of electricity is a theme at the core of both the lighting and the interior. Initially, the existing space was stripped back to the historically valuable and authentic structure and was subsequently supplemented with careful measures.
